Cleansing Raw Vegan Green Smoothie with Celery and Pineapple

I love eating celery and pineapple to help draw out inflammation in my body. Celery contains bioflavonoids called luteolin and apigenin, which reduce inflammation while also protecting against cancer. Pineapple is loaded with an enzyme called bromelain, which is a natural anti-inflammatory. Plus they taste great together. Pineapple is the perfect ingredient to add to smoothies if you’re concerned about them tasting “too green.” The acid and sweetness of pineapple balances that taste perfectly.

Anti-Bloat Cleansing Raw Vegan Celery Pineapple Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

6-7 large stalks of celery (leaves and bottoms cut off)
2 bananas, preferably frozen
2.5 cups of pineapple, preferably frozen
4 cups of water or as needed

Directions:

Blend in high-speed blender. Store your smoothies in glass jars with plastic lids for maximum freshness and convenience.
