Cold, Thick & Creamy Dairy-Free Vegan Strawberry Ice Cream

Dairy-based ice cream was always one of my downfalls. Something about eating bite after bite of cold creamy sweetness just got me hooked and I couldn’t stop. Afterward, I would always feel guilty, lethargic, and bloated. BLECH.

Can you relate? You probably can.

There is a delicious solution!

With raw vegan ice creams, I get all the traits I loved in dairy-based products only with wonderful nutrition and even more amazing flavor. Bye-bye, guilt. Hello, happy body. Plus, this recipe couldn’t be easier! I love instant gratification.

This recipe is also wonderful for kids! Now you can feel good about feeding your children ice cream for any meal of the day. They will love the treat and gobble it down without any of the refined sugars, dairy, or artificial ingredients so often found in traditional ice creams.

Cold, Thick & Creamy Dairy-Free Vegan Strawberry Ice Cream

6 frozen bananas

8 frozen strawberries

Blend in high-speed blender such as a Vitamix, slowly working the mixture with a tamper until ingredients are incorporated but mixture is still firm and creamy.

You may also use a food processor, but blend conservatively and scrape down the mixture often to avoid over-processing and ruining the frozen ice cream texture.

WARNING: If your blender does not come with a tamper, DO NOT use a spoon or any other object while your blender is running. You could risk serious injury or damage your blender.

Yours in delicious heath,
