Creamy Coconut, Pineapple & Banana Green Smoothie

Have you had your green smoothie today? What a great way to start your day or power your way through a long one. This recipe tastes better than a tropical ice cream milkshake, guaranteed! The only thing green about it is the color, otherwise you’d never know it’s packed with super nutritious raw kale.

Creamy Coconut, Pineapple & Banana Green Smoothie

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

2-3 frozen bananas, chunked
6-8 average size dates (or 3-4 medjool dates)
1 young coconut (water & meat scooped out)
1 large handful of lacinato or other kale leaves, stems removed
2 cups frozen pineapple
Water as needed

Directions:

Blend to creamy perfection in a Vitamix or other high speed blender. If you don't have a powerful blender, just blend in stages, adding ingredients bit by bit with a little extra water here and there to achieve creamy texture. Be conservative with the water! You don't want your smoothies to taste watery.
