The vast majority of your raw food diet should be fresh and simple! Don’t make raw foods complicated. (My dehydrator is gathering dust.) It should not take you hours of prep time to make a raw food meal. Beware any teaching approach that focuses on heavy “gourmet” dishes because that approach can mislead you. Gourmet raw should be a treat saved for a special occasion, not a daily staple. Fresh ingredients taste the most delicious, too. Over time, you’ll find you don’t even want to dress things up anymore because easy-to-prepare whole food ingredients alone will please your taste buds and appetite.
