Is Your Story Working?
I love this. Do you have any negative stories that you tell yourself or believe about yourself? I think we all do it at times. The trick is to recognize when you’re doing it and then detach yourself from that thought. Observe what you are thinking and tell yourself, “That’s not actually me. It’s just a reflex thought I had for a fleeting moment.” Picture the negative thought out in front of you, then see it getting flushed away somewhere until it disappears.
