Pineapple Banana Protein Boost Smoothie


This is a great recipe to make on a Sunday as you prepare for the coming week. SUNDAY = Set Yourself Up for SUCCESS day! The great thing about green smoothies is that when stored properly they can last for a couple of days without losing their nutrients. I recommend using a glass canning jar with a plastic screw-top lid such as what’s pictured. This way, you can make a BIG smoothie Sunday night and have it ready to grab-n-go Monday morning. Pineapple Banana Protein Boost Smoothie


2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
2 cups frozen banana chunks
1 bunch rainbow chard, stems removed
6-8 medjool dates
2 tablespoons raw hemp protein powder
1 ½ - 2 cups water


Placing your greens and water at the bottom, blend all ingredients in your Vitamix or other high-speed blender. If your blender isn't very powerful, blend slowly and in stages until creamy consistency is achieved.
