Winter Wonderland Sweet and Sugary Pomegranate Berry Smoothie

Hands down, my favorite smoothie recipe yet. This is so hydrating, energizing, and cleansing. Perfect for your post-workout meal! If you’re wondering why so many of these smoothies contain a lot of celery, it’s because celery is wonderful for busting BLOAT and cleansing your liver and kidneys. Plus, from a purely culinary perspective, it adds a lovely flavor balance due to its natural sodium. This smoothie will turn out a beautiful red berry color and have tiny crunchy seeds from the strawberries and pomegranates. That’s normal. Enjoy!

Winter Wonderland Sweet and Sugary Pomegranate Berry Smoothie

5 stalks of celery
2 pomegranates
1 large orange or 2 small ones
12 medjool dates, pits removed (or about 20 small dates)
3 bananas
2 cups frozen strawberries
2 cups of water or as needed for texture

If your blender is of average power, remember to blend in stages adding water as you go. Always place your greens and some liquids in the bottom of the blender first, then add other ingredients on top. Make sure fruit is in chunks, especially with a weaker blender. Blend until emulsified.

Yours in delicious heath!
